Hello! This is a blog I've created in order to share my Armenian family stories. I've done a lot of research on my genealogy which has led me to discover a fascinating history. I hope the blog will help me to share the information I have gathered over many years. I am also interested in a dialogue with anyone who wants to share information about these topics.
For those unfamiliar with the Armenian Genocide, here is a brief history. Many Amenians lived in Turkey under Ottoman rule. Just before, during and after World War I, the Turkish government murdered, deported and sometimes forced to assimilate its Armenian citizens. Among those who were able to escape to the USA were my Grandparents.
